30. Actions against the IS or against the 1%?

The IS does terrible things but not worse as what our 1% does and did. A few years after World War II, in Indonesia then still a Dutch colony, the Dutch army arrested hundreds of men in Sulawesi, took their clothes away and shot them. Everywhere Western armies invade independent countries killing common citizens and supporting the local 1% to control the 99%.

Before IS existed at least a million Iraqis were killed with the support of Western armies during the Iraq War. They want – just as in the colonial era – the Iraqis to live as the Western countries like them to live. The local 1% are never killed and continue to get still more money.

The IS exist because the miserable situation for most 99% continues to exist. The rich West supports awful governments. Bombing the IS does not help, the 1% have to be dethroned. Groups that want a world without a 1% have never been supported by the West.

It is atrocious that many 99% are killed in war zones. And that nothing is done about the nearly ten million kids that die each year before they are five years old in countries where the Western 1% support the greedy, selfish and cruel local 1%. We are told that the IS is the greatest danger so we must fight them. This fight between two parts of the 99% results in a slaughtering of each other while the 1% continue to amass power and money.

The Western European countries are formed by a lot of violence during the last five centuries. In a great part of the rest of the world there was no struggle (they were colonies) and countries were formed by colonists.

We should withdraw from non-Western countries. Let them keep their oil and commodities for their own future. When they independently develop they will not make the same mistakes we made with world wars and economic-financial crises. In a century there maybe a better world. In the meantime we can take the power and the money away from our own 1%. They are dangerous for our life. We should not attack other 99% but use our energy to put pressure on the extravagant position of the 1% who cause most of the misery.

We are forced to fight against other 99% by our own 1% so they can get the money to replace their yacht of 50 million euro by a yacht of 100 million euro. The 1% do not do that to help the 99% but to control and exploit them.

I do not like the IS but actions against them are only killing the 99%. We should use actions that do not hinder or kill our kind of people. We should only be active in pressuring the life and minds of the 1%, the greatest and wealthiest power in the world..

About Joost van Steenis

My latest book "How to make Revolution, developing the Fourth People's Power", can be downloaded for free from my site http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. It contains new ideas how to take the money and power away from the most powerful people, the elite. It strives to get a new society in which not money is the pivotal point of all discussions but the idea that all people have the same status. New action means are introduced to reach this paradigm shift (a revolution) that concentrate on direct actions in the living sphere of the elite.
