46. The world turns around people with too much money. The greedy 1% is the target

Helping fugitives is not a great solution for world problems. To get a better world we have to start to remove the cause of all misery, the existence of a 1% who above all think about their own well-being.
The rich increase their wealth by extracting oil and other commodities in poor countries and by controlling the industry. The number of billionaires is rising as are the number of fugitives.

Very rich ruling groups in poor countries are supported even when they prevent that the own population gets a better life. Only some groups that are a little bit opposed to the Western 1% are attacked. Therefore governments in Iraq and Libya were removed. The result was however a great chaos because no new governments were installed. The Islamic State came into being, not only in those countries but also elsewhere. The stream of fugitives increased tremendously.
Only common people are damaged by the spreading wars and misery, the 1% retreats in safe heavens  and continues to control the world for their own benefit. They do not mind that they are the cause of much more misery that hurts the masses. The 1% is hardly attacked by common people, they continue their extreme way of living because of their extreme possession of wealth. That should change.

We should of course support fugitives but at the same time – and even with greater force and enthusiasm – start to destroy the prime cause of misery, the existence of the 1%. This small group thinks in the first place of their own interest, getting still more money (and power). The driving force in politics should become the interests of all people. But that is only possible when the greed of a very small part of all people is removed from political decisions.
The tsunami of fugitives can be very disturbing but can only be solved when we start taking the power and the money away from the 1%.

About Joost van Steenis

My latest book "How to make Revolution, developing the Fourth People's Power", can be downloaded for free from my site http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. It contains new ideas how to take the money and power away from the most powerful people, the elite. It strives to get a new society in which not money is the pivotal point of all discussions but the idea that all people have the same status. New action means are introduced to reach this paradigm shift (a revolution) that concentrate on direct actions in the living sphere of the elite.
