62. Action groups should become Autonomous Clubs in a leaderless struggle.

The 99% have hardly influence on what happens in the world. Only sometimes the 99% ask political servants of the 1% not to take pro-1% decisions. The well-paid politicians defend in the first place the interests of the 1%. But the 99% never carry out actions that force the 1% to transfer their wealth to the world of the 99%.
In actions the 99% copy how the 1% rule the world. With big central guided organisations a small top decides what should be done. Anyone who does not agree is silenced. Leaders have too much power and rise closer to the top of society. When action leaders have much more to say than activists who carry out the actions we never get a world without a 1%. In big organisations there is hardly influence of the rank and file members.

After all successful revolutions soon the power (and the money) of leaders increased and the 99% again became secondary. After some time the new society became like the old one, at the top a few rich and powerful people and down under the 99% living in a different and poorer world. A new society with a new 1% came into being. That happened after revolutions as in Russia and China. The number of billionaires is rising.

In actions and revolutions but also in wars only the 99% are hurt, arrested and dying, the 1% remain untouched.
Action groups should not be big and centralised. We should be inspired by ideas and vague action goals. We do not need leaders but many independent small action groups in which all participants develop and use their own creativity.

The struggle is against the 1% and we should not use their power instruments. But hardly any action occurs in the world of the 1%. In that way we never get real change, never get a world without a 1%.

The action world should consist of a multitude of Autonomous Clubs that have only superficially contact with each other but are guided by the same dominating idea, getting a world without a 1%.
We need decentralised actions against the 1%.

About Joost van Steenis

My latest book "How to make Revolution, developing the Fourth People's Power", can be downloaded for free from my site http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. It contains new ideas how to take the money and power away from the most powerful people, the elite. It strives to get a new society in which not money is the pivotal point of all discussions but the idea that all people have the same status. New action means are introduced to reach this paradigm shift (a revolution) that concentrate on direct actions in the living sphere of the elite.
