The 1% have a lot of power in the first place built on money. They rule the industry, the banking world but also the army and the police.
The 99% seem powerless because they do not have money and do not have any influence on power instruments. That must change.
The 99% organise many mass meetings and demonstrations. Only sometimes the elected political servants of the 1% listen but they hardly react on demands of demonstrators. Most actions against this small part of the top (the political servants) have hardly success. The results are often very disappointing. The not-elected top is hardly pressured.
Mass actions can sometimes be useful to inform fellow-99% but to get positive results they are not satisfactory. After some actions many activists stop taking part and give their attention to work, family and how to spend their free time.
We need another kind of actions to get more influence (and more power).
The 99% are small and nearly powerless people. They do not get more power when they work together in big actions. Mass actions without any result are disappointing. It is better to use millions of individual small actions that creatively disturb leaders to change the world. In such actions we use our individuality in many different and unexpected ways. Then we prevent that the 1% continue their way of ordering and organising the 99% for their own benefit.
With small actions we intrude in the private living sphere of the 1% and force them to listen to us. The police can control mass actions that sometimes take place but hardly the many small actions that always can take place. When an action does not have any result we have another one and then again another small action. That is not possible with mass meetings. In the end we penetrate in the life of leaders and force them to listen to us. That gives us a lot of power.
But always think of the Golden Rule of Actions. Damage to the 99% should be minimal and pressure on the 1% (and their servants) should continue to increase. That does not happen in big mass actions.
We should only control, veto and eventually punish selfish leaders who undermine our well-being.
