82. A Movement against the 1% is only formed by many leaderless Autonomous Clubs.

Our society is dominated by very rich leaders (the 1%).  We need a society that is different from the present one. In the fight against the all-powerful leaders we must not copy the present structure of society with organisations with leaders and followers. We need individual 99% who act on their own way. We need people who advance inspirational ideas what to do and against whom. Autonomous Clubs do not need leaders who profit from the work of non-leaders. We fight the 1% and when we win we must not create a new 1%. That happened after most past revolutions.
Movements are inspired by ideas. You may be active on your own but also in small groups with trustworthy acquaintances. There is no big organisation, but the 99% must use their own initiative and their own possibilities to put the ideas in practice. Some Autonomous Clubs may work together but we do not need leaders.

The 1% and their servants should be pressured so autonomous people should have weapons. In past revolutions the used weapons were comparable with the weapons used by armies. These weapons can hardly be used against the 1% and kill mostly only common citizens. In the war in Syria hundreds of thousands of people have been killed but only a very tiny group belongs to the 1%. And in all suicide attacks in Syria, Iraq but also in Western countries the 99% are the targets. The leading people who order the 99% to fight are not attacked. That has to change.

Leaders now order to use weapons that only hurt and kill the 99% and do not take the money and power away from the 1%. Action means of Autonomous Clubs should mostly be legal so possession of weapons cannot lead to imprisonment. The life of the members must be defended and not the existence of the organisation. The 1% is the target and not the 99% who have no influence at all on how the world is ruled. Without leaders the 1% cannot arrest them.

Autonomous Clubs are independent and develop their own weapons to pressure the 1% and their servants. That distinguishes the Clubs from organisations as the army, the police but also the present political parties in which leaders decide what ideas should be used and how they should be accomplished.

We need the individual creativity of the 99% to pressure the 1% who have the power to take decisions that in the first place are beneficial for themselves. Actions against the 1% and their servants will open the way to a new and better society without a super-rich, selfish and greedy 1%.

About Joost van Steenis

My latest book "How to make Revolution, developing the Fourth People's Power", can be downloaded for free from my site http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. It contains new ideas how to take the money and power away from the most powerful people, the elite. It strives to get a new society in which not money is the pivotal point of all discussions but the idea that all people have the same status. New action means are introduced to reach this paradigm shift (a revolution) that concentrate on direct actions in the living sphere of the elite.
