86. The Movement against the 1% should pressure leading people (the 1%) who destroy our world.

People decide and not systems.
In all present political systems common people have to pay and the money streams from the 99% to the top. This pyramidal system was not changed after past revolutions. Then again the 99% had to obey and were still ruled by a seemingly unassailable 1% with an exceedingly higher status and a better life. We need new original ideas to give all people the same status.
Common people have hardly power or influence how to get a better life. The 99% remain always at the bottom of society. New political systems are often slightly more profitable for the 99% but they remain ruled by people with much more money. Only leading people can use systems to get a better life.

In actions for change we should not depend on orders from above but use small independent Autonomous Clubs to strengthen our individuality. We should decide what we do and not some leading people who mostly rule from offices. In actions we should pressure leading people, the ruling 1%, and not try to get another system that does not give us more power.

The guideline for actions should be to increase pressure on the 1%.
Communism but also fascism inspired many people but in the end a 1% still controlled the 99%. We should strive to realise the idea that everyone has the same status, thus the same economic level of existence and the power to fight when the same status idea is damaged. Systems never gave the 99% an own power. The 1% hardly ever came under any pressure by the 99%.

Autonomous Clubs develop their ideas how to pressure the 1% and give the 99% power. Then inequality will be defeated and all people get the same status. That happens when everyone can control, veto and punish faulty leaders who take decisions that support the pyramidal structure of society. The 1% and their servants are the small rich group of people who have more power and money than the rest. They should become the target of all actions.

We should stop listening to greedy and selfish leaders who find that common people should obey them. These people think they are unbeatable and have the right to get the best of society. Individual 99% can climb to the top but most 99% remain subordinate, sometimes having a nice life but sometimes hardly having the possibility to survive. When the 1% is not continuously put under attack nothing will change and the masses remain dependent.
The Movement against the 1% should only pressure the 1%.

About Joost van Steenis

My latest book "How to make Revolution, developing the Fourth People's Power", can be downloaded for free from my site http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. It contains new ideas how to take the money and power away from the most powerful people, the elite. It strives to get a new society in which not money is the pivotal point of all discussions but the idea that all people have the same status. New action means are introduced to reach this paradigm shift (a revolution) that concentrate on direct actions in the living sphere of the elite.
