The war in Syria has cost already 500.000 deaths, all belonging to the 99%. The war continues also because there are no actions against the producers or the financial experts who make more and more weapons. They are the cause that many 99% are killed by guns. Weapons, factories and banks are dead entities, they cannot be guilty. The users, producers and financial experts are guilty. The 1% earn a lot from selling weapons. They live extravagantly on the profits of weapons that only kill common citizens. The few people who profit from this killing industry have never been attacked.
To get rid of weapons we should not get laws that prohibit weapons. We should attack people who are behind the killings of the 99%, people who earn most in the weapon industry. The targets are owners and CEO’s of weapon factories, traders who sell weapons over the whole world, leaders of armies who use weapons to kill the 99% and the 1% who finance the production and use of weapons. The 1% need weapons to increase their money and power. But products are never guilty, people are guilty, people who use products (because of the money earned with it) to increase their power and to control and dominate the 99%. The 1% who make the use of weapons possible should be attacked, not the instruments that kill the 99%.
Wars are raging in many places and inequality is rising. Poverty does not diminish and more than a billion people get not enough food. At the same time the incomes of the 1% are rising while the 99% do not profit. That is wrong but activists are nearly only active in front of institutions and buildings where the 1% is not present. The people who decide continue to live undisturbed their extravagant life. They live in a world where wars do not exist. Wars are organised elsewhere and kill only people who belong to the 99%. The 1% are continuing to live very comfortable and are never killed in wars.
For real change we should start to pressure the 1%. Not with weapons – too difficult for most people – but with many small actions in the private living sphere of the 1% that are hardly punishable. Now people who are producing, trading and using weapons are hardly disturbed. Activists only talk how bad weapons are. But never about the fact that weapons kill only the 99%. We should use our own weapons and not the weapons made to suppress the 99%.
Activists should change their actions by not talking about what is wrong but by doing something against who is wrong. Many small actions are more effective than a few big demonstrations.
