100. Actions are wrong, success too small and only the 99% are damaged.

We need a different kind of actions. Actions are never based on the deep cause of most misery.  The powerful 1% are never attacked. In the last 70 years the influence of the 99% on decisions taken by the top of society has greatly diminished. Strikes and demonstrations nearly disappeared because higher-placed people hardly listen to demands of activists. Contacts of top-people with the 99% are minimised. Fights with the police or between fascists and anti-fascists who also belong to the 99% still occur but do not change anything. Most actions only damage the 99%. The present actions are wrong, they also hinder the development of actions against the real enemy, the 1%.
Results of actions are mostly negative because of the damage to common citizens and because wrong decisions are hardly changed. The  number of actions went down. The election of Trump increased activity a little bit but the powerful Deep State people in the background are still undisturbed. It is time that the target of all actions becomes the 1% and their high-placed servants in the public, political and private sectors of society.

Actions should become less risky for activists. They should not be based on the idea what is wrong, but on the idea who is wrong. Leading people are responsible for much of the misery in our society but are never put under pressure. Actions should become pleasant. Activists should not lead to arrests, imprisonments or even bodily harm and killings. Not we should be damaged but the greedy and selfish people at the top of society.

We need a different kind of actions. Not large ones in the centres of big towns but many small ones creatively disturbing the private life of top-people (who do not live in town centres). When top-people are more pressured they realise that the 99% are fed up with the control of the 1% over the private living situation of common citizens. Present actions do not penetrate the brains of top-people.

Use your creativity and imagine what kind of actions is needed to influence the life of the 1%. That are not mass actions but many small, hardly punishable actions that creatively intrude in the privileged life of the top. When yearly hundreds of thousands of small actions take place leading layers of society become so much disturbed that they are forced to take a different kind of decisions. Then we make a first step towards a society in which all people have the same status, in which all common citizens can be involved in any decision when they want that. It is a step towards a new society in which all people are honoured. The present society in which the greedy and selfish top benefits most should be broken down.

About Joost van Steenis

My latest book "How to make Revolution, developing the Fourth People's Power", can be downloaded for free from my site http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. It contains new ideas how to take the money and power away from the most powerful people, the elite. It strives to get a new society in which not money is the pivotal point of all discussions but the idea that all people have the same status. New action means are introduced to reach this paradigm shift (a revolution) that concentrate on direct actions in the living sphere of the elite.
