About

I, Joost van Steenis, am the owner of the blog https://downwithelite.wordpress.com
I was born in 1938 and I am still a political activist.
I still want to change the present wretched world into a Humane World, where not money is the pivotal point for all decisions but the idea that all people have the same status. This paradigm shift will not be achieved by slow evolutionary ways but will suddenly occur through a revolutionary transition.
All my books can be downloaded for free from my site  “Down with any elite” http://members.chello.nl/jsteenis. My latest book is called “How to make Revolution, Developing the Fourth People’s Power”.

On Facebook I have the Group “Occupy the 1%” to discuss about the revolution.

How can common citizens stop greedy grabbers destroying our world?

When the extravagant greed of the criminal top withers away, greed, corruption and crime on lower levels also diminishes and money will cease to be the deciding argument how people should behave.
The guiding slogan to attack the greed at the top is “Spending 200,000 euro in one year is the limit!”.
Amassing money becomes useless when the super-rich cannot anymore spend their ill-gotten money on goods and services and in places that are exclusively reserved for 200,000-plus people and far out of reach of common citizens. We cannot prevent that the top earns too much money. We can creatively disturb their private living situation in such a way that they cannot spend this unfair gotten money.
When the reason to amass money disappears our world becomes more decent.

Creative citizens can easily translate the spending limit of 200,000 euro in practical, original and creative activities that only hurt the private life of the greedy top. Those actions prevent that anyone uses or produces goods, services or places that are out of bounds for people who can spend less than 200,000 euro.
The power to amass money for a small group of people is the most important reason for financial-economic crises and for the misery in our world including the horrifying fact that nearly ten million kids die each year before they are five years old.
A decent life for all common citizens is far away. The financial crisis did not change the life of the 1% but the life of common citizens became more difficult.
But the top is invulnerable, The People can change our inhuman world by taking away the money and the power from the 1%.

Ik wil graag in contact komen met Joost van Steenis voor het tv-programma ‘In de voetsporen van de jaren 70’ met Philip Freriks. Graag reactie naar annette.bakker@skyhightv.nl

  2. Nice facts but I am not so much intewrested who the actors are and what they do. I am more interested in the directors of the play, the 1% and how we can stop them drawing the strings (and hanging us on strings). Most activity by Occupy and by other activists is directed on what they do and not what we can do. We must not react but act on the time, the place, the how and the target we choose. The site mentiuoned can help to determine targets.
